I recently found this program named "Transcribe!". It's an excellent tool for transcribing music.
It has a few cool features like slowing down the music and an excellent EQ, too single out one instrument. Also it can analyse a section of the music to find the specific notes in a chord for instance. Which is very useful.
Some noob capitalist pig-dogs want you to buy it from them because "they made it" or some other such lame excuse. But it is freely available from bit-torrent sites. Remember piracy is a crime etc (even if IT IS MORALLY RIGHT!)
Anyway I 'll be attempting to make and post some jazz transcriptions as and when I feel inclined so to all you out in zombieland:
